Exceeding Impossibilities

It's impossible to be everything that anybody wants

Our flaws may be hidden deep

So you might need a shovel to dig them up

 

So here's my proposal I'm gonna stop trying

As impossibilities exceed my capabilities

 

Maybe I'm just not the one for you

Did you ever see this through

You're never happy with the words I chose

Or now, is it the tone, when I put them to use

 

This stressful brainache is breaking my memories

Or is it that we just never had any worth remembering

So I'm gonna stop trying, stop my heavy heart from aching

Hold your cold shoulder up high until it swells up

 

Maybe I'm just not the one for you

Did you ever see this through

And I'm not trying to say that this could work

But again it might just take too much work

 

And you can't take away the ghosts

That follow us silently

But I guess if you don't like their visibility

Then just keep on walking, just keep on walking
